New for 2025 we are adding this gorgeous tungsten kilogram bar. Admittedly more decoration than investment, this is a premium product meant to be seen and held. Each bar is made via the sintering method which starts out with scoops of dusty looking but very heavy powder. This powder is placed into a brick-sized mold which is then fed into a contraption that simultaneously manages to heat it to nearly 1,500 degrees Celsius (eh, that’s like a lot in Fahrenheit, ok?) at the same time that it’s being pressed in from all sides. The same basic principle as making fake diamonds, just not as extreme.

What comes out is a cherry red brick about the size of a phone that, upon cooling down, is anything but attractive. This industrial looking piece then goes through multiple rounds of grinding and polishing to achieve not just the mirror finish but also the sharp edges and corners that tell you that some poor sap must have spent hours working on it so you better appreciate it. Damn it.

Each bar measures 75×50×14mm and comes engraved with a serial number.
